A vocal environmentalist and active on the Steering Committee of the Socialist Caucus in the Federal NDP, Simon Rowland's campaign fights for issues beyond those discused the NDP platform. We are fighting for a move to sustainability hiring knowledge workers and social workers into good and non-polluting jobs, fighting for the environment with jail for corporate executives that break environment laws.

Simon Rowland will stop the $130 billion in corporate tax cuts handed out by the Liberals, spending the surplus instead on social housing for working families, on creating good and sustainable jobs in new industries, in the information economy, in continuing education, and new jobs in health.

Simon Rowland has had a number of accomplished careers, from organising social activists, a successful technology entrepreneur, to research in everything from rocket science to economics. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Space Society, a nonprofit organisation working to create new space industries in Canada. Simon has spoken at international aerospace engineering conferences in both the U.S. and Canada.
